A: Stripes are notoriously unforgiving if the fabric isn't cut and sewn with precision. We pattern-match our yarn-dyed stripes carefully across the seams and use a pre-shrunk weave, so the lines stay straight, crisp, and aligned wash after wash.
Q: Are these woven stripes printed on the surface, or are they yarn-dyed?
A: They are true yarn-dyed stripes, meaning the threads are individually dyed before being woven into the fabric. This gives the colors incredible depth, prevents them from fading or bleeding in the wash, and keeps the inside of the fabric just as soft as the outside.
Q: Do the buttons gape or pull open across the chest if you have a fuller bust or like to sleep on your stomach?
A: We engineered the placket with a slightly more generous overlap and reinforced the button spacing so it lies flat and secure, even when you stretch, roll over, or lounge in awkward positions on the sofa.
Q: Will the collar lose its crisp shape and start rolling over or curling up like cheap cotton pajamas?
A: We use a concealed inner lining in the notched collar to give it a clean, tailored structure that keeps its neat shape naturally without ever feeling stiff, scratchy, or irritating against your neck.
Q: Are these lightweight enough for warm summer nights, or are they strictly for winter?
A: These are designed as a true all-season mid-weight cotton. They are light and breathable enough to keep you cool when it's warm, but substantial enough to keep the chill off on breezy mornings without trapping heavy body heat.
Q: Do the cuffs on the sleeves and pants hem tend to ride up or feel restrictive when you sleep?
A: We kept the cuffs loose, unstructured, and free of tight elastic bands. They drape naturally around your wrists and ankles so you can toss, turn, and bend your limbs completely unrestricted.
Q: Will the pink/blue (or classic stripe colorway) bleed onto white laundry if I accidentally wash them together?
A: Because of our premium eco-friendly reactive dyeing process, the color locks securely into the cotton fibers. However, like any quality garment, we still recommend washing with similar colors on the first run just to be safe!
